The USARM Board has decided to go "Green" and thus a new era begins for the USARM Grid. There might be some that have internet access that still would like a printed version of the Grid. Choose below which version of the Grid you'd like to download for print. You can get a color or black and white version in either Microsoft Word or PDF format.

If you do not have Microsoft Office to open the DOC file you can download Open Office which is open-source software which will allow you to open and print the DOC files. You will need Adobe Acrobat to be able to print the PDF files. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Both membership and MotoGP event applications are available. Feel free to fill them out and send them in. You can send MotoGP and membership applications together to Ted Kuwada, his address is on the MotoGP application.

The directors received this nice letter from Tom Georgalos in early January. We've been working the Green Flag and Shelby Club events for about 20 years. As you can see the relationship with our organizations continues to thrive not only with Ron and Carl's actions but due to the entire USARM team who work their events. What Tom means by the "brief absence" is that he leaves the event in Ron and Carl's' hands so Tom can go race or attend to other needs during the race weekend. He has complete confidence that the right decision will always be made by these two gentlemen.

Thanks Ron and Carl for doing such a great job managing their events! And thank you to all our USARM Members who support these great events. The letter reads :

I wanted to just compliment the relationship that we have with USARM and the Green Flag Driving Assoc. As many of you know, I am also instrumental in the workings with the Northern California Shelby Club.

Much of this harmony that allows USARM and GFDA or Shelby Club to operate together reflects on two individuals; Ron Cowen and Carl Sloan.

These two individuals understand how we run our events, the safety at hand, and they are both on the same wavelength when a decision needs to be made in our brief absence.

Keep up the good work; we look forward to a prosperous 2009. Please keep Ron & Carl aligned with both GFDA and Shelby Club.
