Do you have questions for the board? Is there something you've always wanted to know but were either too afraid to ask or didn't know who to ask? Do you have any recommendations on changes or recommendations to make to the board? We want to hear from you. We'd like to hear your recommendations on how we can make things better. We want to hear about folks who go above and beyond and might deserve an award or special notice that you would recommend. Do you have ideas to change or adjust the bylaws - we want to hear them. This is YOUR club. We are just figure heads who try to implement changes for the good of the club and make decisions to assist all of us. The best way we can make our decisions is to know what you want. We know you have ideas that can enhance your experience at the track and we'd like to hear from you. If you have any ideas or recommendations to share with us please contact us : To: USARM MEMBERSHIP From: Ken Berri Subject: Recent changes on the USARM Board of Directors I know it is shocking to hear that two well known board members are no longer on the USARM Board. Removing someone from voluntary board service is a very difficult decision. The events leading up to removing Kati from the board were internal to the Board and I will not share the details. The Board has made a decision and it will stay within the Board. This was not an easy decision and the board put in many hours of quite spirited discussion, however, based on a majority vote, Kati was removed from the board tonight. I look forward to Kati continuing to run and work our USARM events and to serve our club in many other ways. The second person who has left the board is Steve Ynzunza. This was his own decision and he has told me personally it has nothing to do with Kati being removed. I'm glad to say that Steve will still remain quite active with our club. Change is uncomfortable. We all know that. But from change comes more growth opportunities, gaining new talent on the Board and the Board can regain the cohesiveness it has enjoyed in the past.
