Elections will be coming up in December and if you are interested in serving USARM as a member of the Board of Directors, please send a picture and a brief biography to the Grid editor, Kati James.
No later than October 15th for publication in the November Grid. There are four spots opening on the upcoming BoD with terms expiring for: Jim Short Jim Hileman** Dave Jansen Steve Ynzunza ** (Appointed upon the resignation of Jerry Huff) Show your support for USARM by participating in the USRM BoD! (Please remember that as of now, we DO NOT have conference calling meetings so attendance at monthly meetings is necessary) (NO applications will be accepted AFTER October 15th) YOU are what makes USARM the excellent organization that has become. Have a GREAT FALL & let's TRAVEL! USARM BOARD MEETING NOTES Due to conflicting schedules, the August BoD meeting was cancelled. There are no notes or financial reports in the issue. Please watch for a complete update in the upcoming Grid
Camping will be available for those USARM members camping at the Laguna Seca events. This is complimentary and can be reserved by contacting the point of contact for the event. Usually this is located in the Monterey County Parks areas of Laguna Seca.
The Grid is an essential part of the USARM information network and it would be missed by the membership if it were to stop being published. It will be up to the general membership to carry on this tradition of having a monthly newsletter, including USARM schedules, current BoD minutes, financial reports and other information that provides USARM and it's members with all the most current information. It has been my pleasure, for the past 3 years, to be the Grid editor, but time constraints have become such that it not feasible for me to continue.
