RENEW YOUR USARM MEMBERSHIP NOW!
USARM membership is due by the end of the calendar year. If you renew now, you don't risk the increase in membership dues or loose out on any issues of the Grid. New event schedules will be published in the Grid as soon as they are available and you will see it there first! If you need replacement or additional membership forms, please contact one of your Board of Directors. On October 22nd and 23rd Jim Russell Racing Schools ( now owned by Speedway Motor Sports, Inc.-O. Bruton Smith) had its final race of the season for 2005. Saturday night, October 22, 2005, Russell held their annual banquet, presenting awards and honoring those who showed outstanding performance during the year. All USARM Russell workers were invited. In attendance were: Jerry and Karen Huff, Lisa Simoni, Darlyn Linka-Pettenati and Tim Pettenati, Liz Larssen, Kitty Klingberg and her new husband Paul Brenek, Jim Short and Melanie Durandette. The dinner was exceptional, as always, and the videos were entertaining and humorous. We enjoyed cocktails before and awards after and plenty of meat and jokes in between.
