| The Annual Pre Historic Races at Laguna Seca went without a hitch. The event was a marvelous display of the vintage cars, the way they were seen when they first raced. Too many pictures to display in the Grid but Mike Allison has 6 disks full of these beautiful cars if you are interested. Contact Mike at the next event for more information. Thanks Mike for sharing your great photos with the rest of us. |

The first annual USARM putting contest was also held the weekend of August 13-14. As you can tell, the field was small but intense, the course is tricky and full of obstacles but our intrepid 'putter' made the best of the situation and invites all those who can beat his one shot into the Turn 11 gravel trap to bring their putter for a challenge! |

The USARM Board of Directors is looking for that special person or persons to act as chairperson for the MotoGP 2006!.
When a chairperson is selected, he or she will be forming a committee to begin meeting as soon as possible.
The MotoGP Committee will report to the USARM BoD on a regular basis.
Anyone interested, please contact USARM BoD member as soon as possible & prepare for an exciting several months!
USARM Banquet Chairman, Steve Johnson is hard at work, already, on the annual USARM Banquet for 2005-2006. This event was a great success last year, combined with Jim Short and the training seminars.
Steve is confident that he can reserve The Biltmore again this year with the same room rates, so keep your calendar open for February 11th, 2006 and come enjoy the fun evening of dinner, door prizes, lots of casual chit chat & hopefully more on the training seminars.
Watch the Grid for more information to follow

"BABY GRAND"
One of USARM's own, Vanessa Jansen, was recently involved in an event at Laguna Seca to raise funds for "The Make a Wish" Foundation. Vanessa was the object of many drivers' attention, as she sat in the "shower stall" that gave the donators a chance to turn on the water! Vanessa, personally, raised almost $1000.00 for this worthy cause.
It goes to show that USARM members are willing to give what it takes to help out community, children in need and still have lots of fun.
WAY TO GO Vanessa!!
