Our new training seminars are in the works! Watch for exciting upcoming news.
Training is a big part of what makes USARM the organization that it is. As an organization, we are very highly thought of, providing professional course marshals for wide and varied events.
To that end, the BoD of USARM is initiating training seminars.
It is our hope that we can have several "seminar leaders" and be able to offer you, the members of USARM, a comprehensive program in which you can gain added confidence, polish skills and learn something new.
For more information, please call the USARM Training Coordinator:

Do you have a favorite recipe?
If so, why not send it into Jim Short or Melanie Durandette
to be included in a new USARM Cookbook.
Maybe something you remember from childhood or just something that YOU would like to share, send it in along with a short "blurb" telling Jim & Melanie why it is special to you or your family. Watch for the new USARM Cookbook coming soon!

THE IMPORTANCE OF JOINING THE USARM MAILING LIST
It is important that all of our members that have email join the USARM Mailing List. It is the BEST way to get updates about events, changes in schedules, and any other important information that YOUR BoD and event contacts have of telling you about news.
If you have friends who you know do not have email, please pass along any new information to them.
It is very hard for the BoD to call every member to pass along important information, so PLEASE take a minute & join the USARM Mailing List
THIS IS HOW
Subscribe to the USARM Mailing list:
There's an email link at the very bottom of the home page of the
USARM website where there's a short paragraph about signing up for the
USARM Email list. If you click on the "Join
USARM E-Mail List" link, it should create an outgoing email to
usarm-request@usarm.org with subscribe as the subject. That's all that's needed to sign-up for the
USARM Email list. After confirming your subscription to the list, you can then send an email to
usarm@usarm.org and that will then be re-directed to those that have subscribed to the
USARM Email list.

Negotiations will be getting underway, by your BoD, to make sure that MotoGP will be the BEST ever event at Laguna Seca.
There is a HUGE amount of interest already for this upcoming event.
Applications will be ready soon; in the Grid, on line at www.usarm.org and from any BoD member.
Remember, you MUST have a current (2005) USARM application on file to be considered for this event. Preference will be given to the FIRST 300 who sign up and commit for all 3 days. We are being asked to staff this event because we are the only group that has the professional manpower to do so. Let's get together and make sure that this event IS the best ever for USARM and for Laguna Seca.
SCRAMP is the event promoter and is very eager to work with USARM, its members and the BoD to insure a SAFE, well staffed event.
LET'S MAKE THAT HAPPEN
SIGN UP AS SOON AS YOU
GET YOUR MOTO-GP APPLICATION! |

Remember, we can only accept the FIRST 300 names on the list!

Dear USARM Members
As some of you may already be aware, Ron Johnson, a member of long standing, suffered injuries in a fall last February.
One result of these injuries was his confinement in a hospital for several weeks and since that time, in a nursing rehabilitation center.
He is due to leave the rehab center soon, however because of the injuries and his long battle with arthritis, it will be necessary for him to have extra controls installed in his car to allow him to drive.
To help defray the cost of installation, I am starting a fund in his name. All contributions will be appreciated.
|
Please send any contributions (checks only please) payable to:
"The Ron Johnson Fund"
Print "GIFT" on the checks and send them to:

Thank you sincerely,

A special place for kids with cancer…where memories last forever |
|
As a direct result of the USARM 2003-2004 Banquet, we were able to donate $550.00 to Camp OKIZU.
This camp provides a camping experience for children with cancer and their families.
USARM received a "Thank You" letter from Allen Goldberg, of that organization; in which he states :
". . . . I would like to thank you for the generous donation of $550.00 to the Okizu Foundation…USARM's support is very much appreciated…"
"Thank you again for helping us to better the lives of children with cancer in Northern California…"
The entire letter of thanks can be viewed at the USARM Banquet on February 12th, 2005 |
