2012 U.S. MotoGP at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

The 2012 MotoGP World Championship, at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, is scheduled for July 27-29th, 2011.

As usual, the MotoGP worker applications will be available in early March. We've already had a number of inquiries asking if they're available so that's the answer. As soon as they are available, you'll find them on this page. There will also be an announcment on the home page here as well as on the USARM email list.

We have created a USARM MotoGP training page which has links to our manual, handouts, presentations and videos. Everyone should take a look at the information offered, especially the newer folks that have either just joined or only have a year or two of experience working corners. There is a new training video from the MotoGP folks for everyone to take a look at, it can be found on the MotoGP training page.

We've added another item to our online cadre of tools to help make sure we all have the skills to do our job out on the corners. There are now proficiency tests that will check your knowledge about working corners at the race track. There is a standard version as well as a motorcycle version. Last year's event was amazing! The racing was incredible, the weather was perfect but the best part was getting to meet so many wonderful people from all over the world. The event was successful because of people like you who came out to not only work hard but play hard at this event.

There is now information about cornerworker camping at the MotoGP.

If accepted to work the race. You agree to fulfill your commitment to work the position assigned to you for the entire weekend. Failure to show up at your assigned position or leaving your post during the event without permission will result in your credentials being pulled and you will be escorted from the track.

If you are signed up to work the event and find that you won't be able to work it, please let Ted know as soon as possible so he can get someone to take your place and that person can make plans to come work the event.

If you are brand new and not yet a USARM member you also can join USARM by filling out the online application on our secure website and pay via PayPal or then mail in your dues. If you are already member do not use this form to try and renew.

If you are already a member and have previously regsitered, etc. so that you have your username and password, you can renew your membership by logging in on the secure membership website and then choosing Renew Membership.

If you are already a USARM member but have never signed up for your username and password, please go to the Register form on the secure membership website. Non-members should not use this form, it's a waste of time to fill it out, you need to use the Join USARM form at the link shown two paragraphs above.
